  • 4 ounces semisweet chocolate, chopped
  • ¾ cup unsalted butter
  • ¾ cup granulated sugar
  • ½ cup light brown sugar
  • 3 large eggs
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • ¾ cup cocoa powder
  • ¾ teaspoon salt
  • For the ganache: 6 ounces semisweet chocolate, chopped or in morsels, ¾ cup heavy cream, Fleur de sel for sprinkling

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a 9×9 inch baking pan.
  2. Melt the semisweet chocolate and butter together until smooth.
  3. In a bowl, combine sugars and add melted chocolate mixture. Mix in eggs and vanilla extract.
  4. In another bowl, whisk together flour, cocoa powder, and salt. Fold into the wet mixture.
  5. Pour batter into the prepared pan and bake for about 30 minutes or until set.
  6. For ganache, heat cream until simmering and pour over chopped chocolate; stir until smooth.
  7. Once brownies cool, cut into squares and dip into ganache; sprinkle with Fleur de sel.
