Ingredients
- 1 Tbsp. softened butter
- 1 Tbsp. olive oil
- 1/2 white onion, finely diced
- 1 lb. ground beef
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 Tbsp. yellow mustard
- 1 tsp. Worcestershire sauce
- 1/2 tsp. kosher salt
- pepper, to taste
- 1 pack dinner rolls, 12 count (I use King's Hawaiian Savory Butter Rolls)
- 16 slices American cheese (I use Boar's Head)
- 3 Tbsp. butter, melted
- pinch of salt and garlic powder
- 2 tsp. white sesame seeds
- 1/2 cup mayonnaise
- 1/4 cup ketchup
- 2 Tbsp. sweet pickle relish
- 2 tsp. sugar
- 1 tsp. distilled white vinegar
- salt and pepper, to taste
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C).
- Butter a baking sheet and set aside.
- In a sauté pan, heat olive oil over medium-high heat; sauté onions until translucent.
- Add ground beef; cook until browned and drain excess fat.
- Mix in garlic, Worcestershire sauce, mustard, salt, and pepper; cook for an additional minute.
- Assemble sliders by layering cheese on the bottom halves of rolls, adding beef mixture and more cheese before topping with the other half of the rolls.
- Brush tops with melted butter mixed with garlic powder and sprinkle sesame seeds.
- Bake for 12–15 minutes until golden brown.
- Serve with homemade burger sauce.
