  • 1 pound boneless, skinless chicken breasts
  • 2 cups fresh green beans
  • 3 cloves garlic
  • 1 tablespoon fresh ginger
  • 1/4 cup soy sauce
  • 1 tablespoon honey
  • 1 teaspoon sesame oil
  • Vegetable oil for cooking

Instructions

  1. Heat 1 tablespoon of vegetable oil in a large skillet or wok over medium-high heat. Season sliced chicken with salt and pepper, then cook for about 5-7 minutes until browned and cooked through. Remove from skillet.
  2. In the same skillet, add another tablespoon of vegetable oil and stir-fry green beans for about 3-4 minutes until bright green and crisp-tender.
  3. Add minced garlic and ginger to the skillet; cook for an additional minute until fragrant.
  4. Return the chicken to the skillet. Whisk together soy sauce, honey, sesame oil, and optional red pepper flakes in a bowl; pour over chicken and veggies. Stir to combine and cook for another 2-3 minutes until heated through.
