Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease an 8×4 inch loaf pan.
  2. In a medium bowl, whisk together flour, baking powder, baking soda, salt, cinnamon, cloves, and nutmeg. Set aside.
  3. In a large bowl, combine oil, eggs, sugar, vanilla extract, and pumpkin puree until smooth.
  4. Gradually add dry ingredients to the wet mixture, stirring just until combined.
  5. Fold in one cup of chocolate chips evenly into the batter.
  6. Pour the batter into the prepared loaf pan and top with remaining chocolate chips.
  7. Bake for 50–60 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean from the center.
