Description

Churro Cheesecake is a delightful dessert that marries the crispy, cinnamon-sugar goodness of churros with a rich, creamy cheesecake filling. Perfect for any occasion—from family gatherings to festive celebrations—this impressive dish is surprisingly simple to make. Layers of buttery crescent dough encase a luscious cream cheese mixture, and a generous sprinkle of cinnamon sugar on top adds the perfect finishing touch. Whether served in individual slices or as bars, this crowd-pleasing treat will have everyone coming back for seconds!

Ingredients

Scale
  • 16 ounces full-fat cream cheese
  • ¾ cup granulated sugar
  • 1 large egg
  • 1½ teaspoons vanilla extract
  • Two 8-ounce packages refrigerated crescent roll dough
  • 1 tablespoon ground cinnamon
  • ½ cup granulated sugar (for topping)
  • 3 tablespoons unsalted butter

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a bowl, mix together the cinnamon and ½ cup sugar; set aside.
  3. Unroll one package of crescent dough in a baking dish, pressing it evenly across the bottom.
  4. In another bowl, beat cream cheese until smooth; mix in sugar, egg, and vanilla until well combined.
  5. Spread the cheesecake mixture over the dough and layer with the second package of dough, sealing the edges.
  6. Brush melted butter on top and sprinkle with the cinnamon sugar mixture.
  7. Bake for about 28 minutes or until golden brown. Let cool before slicing.
