  • 1 cup chocolate chips (for filling)
  • ¼ cup sugar (for coating)
  • ½ tsp ground cinnamon (for coating)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. In a mixing bowl, cream together the softened butter, granulated sugar, and brown sugar until light and fluffy.
  3. Beat in the eggs one at a time, then stir in the vanilla extract.
  4. In a separate bowl, whisk together flour, baking soda, salt, and ground cinnamon.
  5. Gradually combine the dry ingredients with the wet mixture until just blended.
  6. Prepare the cinnamon-sugar coating by mixing together the sugar and cinnamon in a small bowl.
  7. Take a tablespoon of dough, flatten it, place chocolate chips in the center, fold over to seal.
  8. Roll each cookie ball in the cinnamon-sugar mixture until coated.
  9. Bake on prepared sheet for 10-12 minutes or until edges are lightly golden.
