Ingredients
- 1 cup + 2 tbsp all-purpose flour (heat-treated)
- 1/2 cup unsalted butter (room temperature)
- 1/2 cup light brown sugar (packed)
- 1/4 cup granulated sugar
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- 1/2 tsp sea salt
- 2/3 cup mini chocolate chips
- 200g milk chocolate (chopped)
- 200g dark chocolate (chopped)
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C). Spread the flour on a baking sheet and bake for about 5 minutes to heat-treat it. Let it cool.
- In a mixing bowl, combine room temperature butter, brown sugar, granulated sugar, vanilla extract, and sea salt; beat until creamy.
- Gradually mix in the cooled flour and then stir in mini chocolate chips and milk until you achieve a soft consistency.
- Shape the dough into small balls (about 1 inch in diameter) and refrigerate for about 30 minutes until firm.
- Melt milk and dark chocolate in separate microwave-safe bowls until smooth.
- Dip each chilled truffle into melted chocolate using a fork, let excess drip off, and place back on parchment paper to set.
