Ingredients

Scale
  • 12 oz linguine
  • 2 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • 2 tbsp butter
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tsp smoked paprika
  • ½ tsp red pepper flakes
  • 1 tsp Dijon mustard
  • ½ cup chicken broth
  • ½ cup heavy cream
  • ½ cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • Fresh parsley for garnish

Instructions

  1. Cook linguine in salted boiling water until al dente; reserve ½ cup pasta water before draining.
  2. Season chicken with salt, black pepper, smoked paprika, and red pepper flakes. Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium-high heat and cook chicken for about 5–6 minutes per side until fully cooked. Remove from skillet and slice.
  3. In the same skillet, lower the heat and add butter. Sauté minced garlic until fragrant, then stir in Dijon mustard, lemon juice, and chicken broth. Simmer for 2–3 minutes.
  4. Add heavy cream and Parmesan cheese; stir until melted and smooth. If too thick, add reserved pasta water to reach desired consistency.
  5. Combine sliced chicken and drained linguine with the sauce; toss to coat evenly. Serve hot garnished with chopped parsley.
