  • 1 stick unsalted butter
  • 1 tablespoon Dijon mustard
  • 12 tablespoons fresh chives (chopped)
  • 12 tablespoons fresh parsley (chopped)
  • 12 tablespoons fresh thyme (chopped)
  • 34 cloves garlic (minced)
  • 1 teaspoon lemon juice
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Clean mushrooms under cold water and pat dry; slice evenly.
  2. In a small bowl, mix softened butter, Dijon mustard, chives, parsley, thyme, garlic, lemon juice, and seasonings until well combined.
  3. Heat a large skillet over medium heat; add the cowboy butter mixture until melted.
  4. Add sliced mushrooms to the skillet and sauté for 20–22 minutes until golden brown and tender.
  5. Season with salt and pepper to taste before serving.
