  • 2 large apples
  • 1/2 cup caramel sauce
  • 3 tbsp sugar
  • 1 tsp ground cinnamon
  • 1/2 cup salted butter, melted
  • 3 tbsp all purpose flour
  • 3/4 cup sour cream
  • 1 1/2 tbsp vanilla extract
  • 1 tsp ground cinnamon
  • 1/4 cup light brown sugar, packed
  • 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • 1/8 tsp ground nutmeg
  • sprinkle of lemon juice
  • 1/2 cup heavy whipping cream, cold
  • 1/4 cup powdered sugar
  • 1/2 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1/4 tsp ground cinnamon

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). In a mixing bowl, combine graham cracker crumbs, sugar, and melted butter; press into the bottom of a greased 9×13 inch baking pan.
  2. Bake for about 10 minutes until slightly golden.
  3. Beat cream cheese and sugar in another bowl until smooth; add flour, sour cream, vanilla, cinnamon, and eggs one at a time. Pour over crust.
  4. Toss chopped apples with brown sugar, cinnamon, nutmeg, and lemon juice; spread over the cheesecake layer.
  5. Bake for 40-50 minutes until set but slightly jiggly in the center. Cool completely before chilling in the refrigerator for at least four hours.
  6. Serve chilled with whipped cream and caramel sauce.
