Ingredients
- 500g flour
- 700g chicken thighs
- 50g grated cheese
- 1 egg
- 225ml water
- Various spices (cayenne powder, garlic powder, etc.)
- 8g salt
- 10g instant yeast
- 75g yogurt
- 15g honey
- 35ml sunflower oil
- 40g butter
- 100g Algerienne sauce
- 20g sweet soy sauce
Instructions
- In a mixing bowl, combine flour, salt, instant yeast, yogurt, honey, sunflower oil, and lukewarm water. Mix until combined.
- Knead the dough for 10–12 minutes until smooth and elastic. Cover and let rise in a warm place for about an hour.
- Roll out the risen dough into two circles. Brush one with melted butter and sprinkle cheese on top; place the second circle over it.
- Cut into triangles and roll each triangle from the wide end to form crescents.
- Allow the formed crescents to rise again for about 30 minutes before baking at 200°C (390°F) for 10–15 minutes until golden brown.
- Cook seasoned chicken thighs in olive oil until golden brown and mix with sauces before filling the baked crescents.
