  • 1 lb boneless (skinless) chicken breasts
  • 2 cups Minute rice (white or brown)
  • 1 can (10.5 oz) cream of chicken soup
  • 1 can (10.5 oz) cream of mushroom soup
  • 1 can (10.5 oz) water
  • 1 tbsp butter
  • 1 envelope Lipton onion soup mix

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F.
  2. Grease a 9×13 baking pan with butter.
  3. In a mixing bowl, combine cream of chicken soup, cream of mushroom soup, water, and rice.
  4. Pour the mixture into the prepared pan and evenly place the chicken on top.
  5. Sprinkle the Lipton onion soup mix over the chicken.
  6. Cover tightly with foil and bake for 1 to 1½ hours until the chicken is cooked through.
  7. Optional: Uncover during the last 10 minutes and add shredded cheese if desired.
