- 1 ½ cups whole milk (lukewarm)
- ¾ teaspoon salt
- 1 ½ cups all-purpose flour (spooned and leveled)
- 3 tablespoons melted butter (cooled slightly)
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 450°F and place your popover pan on a baking sheet in the oven for 2 minutes.
- In a blender, combine eggs, milk, and salt. Add flour and blend until smooth. Finally, mix in the melted butter until frothy. Let rest for 15 minutes.
- Remove the hot pan from the oven, spray with nonstick cooking spray, and fill each well almost to the top with batter.
- Bake at 450°F for 20 minutes without opening the oven door. Then reduce heat to 350°F and bake for an additional 10 minutes until golden brown.
- Pierce the tops of popovers with a knife to release steam before removing them from the pan.
