Ingredients
- 16 string cheese (cut in half crosswise)
- 1/3 cup all-purpose flour
- 1 1/2 cups Italian-style breadcrumbs
- 2 eggs
- 2 teaspoons milk
- Oil for frying
- Marinara sauce for serving
Instructions
- Prepare three bowls: one with flour, another with beaten eggs and milk, and the third with seasoned breadcrumbs.
- Coat each piece of string cheese in flour, dip in the egg mixture, then coat with breadcrumbs. Repeat the egg dip and breadcrumb coating.
- Place coated sticks on a parchment-lined sheet pan and freeze for at least 2 hours.
