  • 1 pound large shrimp, peeled and deveined
  • 1 cup lump crab meat, drained and flaked
  • 3 tablespoons olive oil
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 2 cups chicken or seafood broth
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • Salt and black pepper to taste
  • Fresh parsley for garnish

Instructions

  1. Cook pasta in a large pot according to package instructions until al dente; reserve 1 cup pasta water before draining.
  2. In the same pot, heat olive oil over medium heat. Sauté minced garlic for about 30 seconds until fragrant.
  3. Add shrimp and cook for 2-3 minutes until pink. Gently stir in crab meat.
  4. Pour in broth and cream; bring to a simmer while stirring frequently. Gradually add Parmesan until melted and smooth.
  5. Return drained pasta to the pot; toss everything together and adjust consistency with reserved pasta water as needed. Season with salt and pepper.
