  • 1 cup white sugar
  • 1/3 cup cocoa powder
  • 1 egg
  • 1 tsp vanilla
  • 3/4 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1/4 tsp baking powder
  • 1/4 tsp salt
  • 1/2 cup chocolate chips

Instructions

  1. In a bowl, beat together peanut butter, softened butter, and brown sugar until fluffy. Add egg and vanilla; mix well.
  2. In another bowl, whisk together flour, baking soda, and salt before gradually combining with wet mixture.
  3. For brownie dough, whisk melted butter with white sugar and cocoa powder. Add egg and vanilla, then fold in flour, baking powder, salt, and chocolate chips.
  4. Chill both doughs in the refrigerator for about 30 minutes.
  5. Scoop equal amounts of both doughs onto a parchment-lined baking sheet; swirl gently with a toothpick.
  6. Bake at 350°F (175°C) for 9-11 minutes until edges are set but centers are soft.
  7. Cool on the baking sheet for about 5-10 minutes before transferring to a wire rack.
