  • ¼ teaspoon salt
  • ¼ teaspoon garlic powder
  • ¼ teaspoon Italian seasoning (plus extra for topping)
  • Pinch of black pepper
  • Cooking spray (or oil to grease the tins)
  • 8 refrigerated biscuits (16-ounce package)
  • ¼ cup pasta sauce (or pizza sauce)
  • 3 ounces chopped pepperoni
  • 78 ounces shredded mozzarella

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a muffin tin.
  2. In a small bowl, mix together softened butter, olive oil, salt, garlic powder, Italian seasoning, and black pepper.
  3. Place each biscuit in muffin cups and press down gently. Prick the bottoms with a fork and brush with the butter mixture.
  4. Add about ½ teaspoon of pasta sauce into each cup followed by layers of mozzarella cheese and chopped pepperoni.
  5. Top with additional Italian seasoning if desired and bake for 20-23 minutes until golden brown.
