- ⅔ cup brown sugar
- ⅔ cup granulated sugar

- 1½ cups semi-sweet chocolate chips
Instructions

- In another bowl, mix the canned pumpkin, brown sugar, granulated sugar, applesauce (or oil), eggs, and vanilla until well combined.
- Gradually fold the dry mixture into the wet mixture until just combined. Avoid overmixing.
- Gently fold in the chocolate chips.
- Divide the batter between the prepared loaf pans and sprinkle with reserved mini chocolate chips if desired.
