  • 1/2 cup warm milk
  • 2 large eggs
  • 2 tsp ground cinnamon
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1/2 tsp baking powder
  • 1/2 tsp baking soda
  • 1/4 tsp nutmeg
  • 1/4 tsp kosher salt

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease and flour a loaf or round cake pan.
  2. In one bowl, mix flour, spices, baking powder, baking soda, and salt.
  3. In another bowl, cream softened butter and sugar until fluffy. Beat in eggs one at a time.
  4. Add pumpkin puree and vanilla; mix until smooth.
  5. Gradually stir in dry ingredients until just combined. Fold in warm milk until incorporated.
  6. Pour the batter into the prepared pan and bake for 50-55 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean.
  7. Allow cooling for about 15 minutes before removing from the pan.
