  • 10 ounces marshmallows
  • 5 cups Rice Krispie cereal
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 10 ounces caramels (or caramel bites)
  • 1 (14-ounce) can sweetened condensed milk
  • ½ cup heavy cream
  • 6 ounces milk chocolate chips
  • Sea salt (for garnish)

Instructions

  1. Grease a 9×13-inch baking dish with butter.
  2. In a large saucepan over medium heat, melt 5 tablespoons of butter. Add marshmallows and stir continuously until melted. Remove from heat and mix in vanilla extract.
  3. In another saucepan, combine sweetened condensed milk, 5 tablespoons of butter, and unwrapped caramels. Melt over medium heat until smooth; pour over the Rice Krispie mixture in the baking dish.
  4. Allow the caramel layer to cool for about 15 minutes before drizzling with melted chocolate prepared by heating heavy cream and mixing it with chocolate chips until smooth.
  5. Sprinkle sea salt on top and let cool completely before slicing into squares.
