  2. In one bowl, whisk together dry ingredients: flour, baking soda, spices, salt, and sugar.
  3. In another bowl, mix wet ingredients: oil, pumpkin, eggs, and vanilla until smooth.
  4. Combine wet and dry mixtures gently until just combined.
  5. Prepare cream cheese filling by mixing softened cream cheese with sugar, milk, flour, and vanilla until creamy.
  6. Spoon batter into muffin cups, add cream cheese filling on top, then cover with remaining batter.
  7. Top with melted butter mixed with pumpkin seeds and brown sugar.
  8. Bake for about 20 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean.
