Ingredients

Scale
  • 2 boneless ribeye or sirloin steaks (about 6 oz each)
  • 12 oz pasta (spaghetti, fettuccine, or penne)
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 4 cloves garlic (minced)
  • ½ cup heavy cream
  • ½ cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • Fresh basil or parsley (for garnish)

Instructions

  1. Boil the pasta in salted water until al dente (8–10 minutes). Drain, reserving ½ cup pasta water.
  2. Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium-high heat. Season steaks with salt and pepper; sear for 4–5 minutes per side for medium-rare.
  3. In the same skillet, reduce heat and add butter and garlic; sauté until fragrant. Stir in heavy cream and Parmesan cheese until thickened.
  4. Toss cooked pasta with the sauce, adding reserved pasta water as needed. Add sliced steak just before serving.
  5. Garnish with fresh herbs and additional Parmesan if desired.
