Whether you’re hosting a family dinner or enjoying a quick weeknight meal, Tandoori Chicken is versatile enough to suit any occasion. Serve it alongside fluffy rice, crisp salads, or wrapped in naan for a complete culinary experience. Ideal for health-conscious eaters, this dish is keto-friendly and low in carbs without sacrificing flavor.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1.5 pounds boneless skinless chicken thighs
  • 1 lime (juiced)
  • 3/4 teaspoon table salt
  • 3/4 teaspoon ground black pepper
  • 7 ounces plain Greek yogurt
  • 5 cloves garlic (minced)
  • 1 tablespoon minced fresh ginger
  • 1 tablespoon ground cumin
  • 1 tablespoon smoked paprika
  • 1 teaspoon ground turmeric
  • 1/2 teaspoon ground cayenne

Instructions

  1. In a large mixing bowl, combine lime juice, salt, pepper, yogurt, garlic, ginger, cumin, paprika, turmeric, and cayenne to create the marinade.
  2. Rub the marinade all over the chicken thighs and cover. Refrigerate for at least 6 hours or ideally overnight for maximum flavor.
  3. Preheat your oven's broiler on high or set it to 450°F if broiling isn't available.
  4. Line a baking sheet with foil or parchment paper and arrange the marinated chicken in a single layer.
  5. Broil for about 15–20 minutes until the top is mostly dry with some charred edges; flip and cook for an additional 10 minutes until fully cooked.
