Ingredients
- 1 1/2 cups all-purpose flour

- 1 tbsp red food coloring (gel-based)
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- 1/2 tsp baking soda
- 1 tsp white vinegar

Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and line a muffin tin with paper liners.
- In a bowl, cream together softened butter and sugar until fluffy. Add eggs one at a time, followed by vanilla and red food coloring.
- In another bowl, combine flour, cocoa powder, salt, and alternate adding to the wet mixture with buttermilk. Stir in baking soda mixed with vinegar.
- Fill muffin cups two-thirds full and bake for 18–20 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean. Cool completely.
- Hollow out the centers of cupcakes and fill them with the creamy red velvet filling made from cake crumbs mixed with sweetened condensed milk.
- Frost cupcakes with pale buttercream made from softened butter, powdered sugar, vanilla extract, and milk. Decorate using candy fangs and drizzle red syrup for the vampire bite effect.
