  • 200 g ground pork
  • 200 g raw shrimp (chopped)
  • 3 cups chicken broth
  • 2 tbsp toasted sesame oil
  • 2 green onions (chopped)
  • 1 tbsp light soy sauce
  • 1 tbsp grated ginger

Instructions

  1. Prepare the Filling: In a mixing bowl, combine ground pork, chopped shrimp, grated ginger, chopped green onions, light soy sauce, and salt. Mix until smooth.
  2. Wrap the Wontons: Place a teaspoon of filling in each wonton wrapper. Moisten edges with water, fold to seal tightly, and shape as desired.
  3. Cook the Wontons: Boil a large pot of water. Add wontons and cook for about 4 minutes until they float. Remove with a slotted spoon.
  4. Make the Broth: In a saucepan, simmer chicken broth, toasted sesame oil, smashed garlic cloves, ginger slice, light soy sauce, sugar, and Chinese cooking wine for 5-10 minutes.
